Camilla Siren is a visual artist who has stood out in muralism and urban art since 2014. In 2024, the book "Siren Concreta" was released, where the artist celebrates projects and paintings, shares her creative process behind her most popular murals, and share the knowledge she has gained over a decade of her artistic career. Her first solo exhibition, "Impulso" (2016), took place when she was 19 years old, and since then, her career has included participation in renowned events, taking her art to galleries such as the Graffiti Fine Art Biennial in São Paulo and PLPEX in Macau, China. Over the course of her career, she has participated in numerous urban art festivals in different states of Brazil, such as Além da Rua (CE), Street River (PA), and Street Art Tour (SC), as well as international festivals like the Colors Festival (France) and Numu (Ecuador).
Muralism and urban art are Siren’s primary language, due to their ability to connect with diverse audiences. Her work serves as an urban invitation to contemplation, sparking curiosity and inspiring others to find beauty in the nuances of everyday life. Her female characters, paired with a vibrant color palette, intertwine strength and delicacy, creating a playful dialogue with those who pass by.
Camilla Siren's work holds a special significance for Brasília, where she has been painting the city’s streets and murals for over 10 years. Her art not only beautifies the urban space but also transforms the perception of the city, fostering a sense of belonging and inspiration. By bringing her artistic vision to the streets, she contributes to a more vibrant and welcoming environment, solidifying Brasília as a hub for cultural expression and creativity.
